FAQ for this module

Does this replace our time clock hardware?

Certiva works via mobile app and browser, so most teams replace hardware entirely. If you have existing hardware you want to keep, contact us to discuss integration options.

Does the Premium trial require a credit card?

Yes. Premium trials require a card on file to keep the trial meaningful. Standard trials have no card requirement.

What every tier includes

Whether you start on Standard or go straight to Premium, every tier gives you the core workflows for that module, not a stripped-down version designed to push you to upgrade. Premium is for teams that need higher limits or multi-location capability, not for teams that want basic features to actually work.

  • Full access to that module's core workflows from day one
  • Payroll and platform export integrations as listed for each product
  • Guided onboarding included; annual plans get a dedicated onboarding session
  • Regular product updates at no extra cost to any tier
  • Full export access to your operational data at any time

  • 4 modules 20% off combined

If Certiva is not the right fit within your first 30 days on a paid monthly plan, we work with you on a structured exit with no questions asked. Annual plans include a documented success checkpoint at 90 days so we can course-correct early if anything is off.

General pricing questions

How does Certiva pricing work?

Each module has two published tiers: Standard and Premium. You pay a flat monthly amount with a clear limit on users, stores, or cases depending on the module. There are no per-seat surprises on published limits. Setup fees apply on monthly plans and are waived when you go annual. Combine modules and you get an automatic bundle discount of 10 to 20 percent depending on how many you add.

What is the difference between Standard and Premium?

Standard covers teams and operations up to a published limit, usually 25 users or 1 location. Premium raises those limits and adds multi-location support, advanced workflows, and API access. If you are a single-site business with a straightforward setup, Standard is usually the right starting point.

What happens when we grow past the tier limit?

You move up to the next tier for that module. We notify you before you hit the limit so the upgrade is planned, not a surprise. For operations larger than Premium covers, we work out a custom Enterprise arrangement.

Does Certiva process payroll?

No. The Payroll Management module is a workflow and approval layer that sits upstream of your payroll processor. It cleans up attendance records, manages approval chains, and exports clean data to Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, or Paychex. It does not file taxes, issue paychecks, or administer benefits.

Is there a free trial?

Workforce Control Standard includes a 14-day trial with no card required. Premium tiers and DME Workflow Control require a card on file or a demo before trial access. Contact us if you want to set up a structured pilot.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or healthcare organizations?

Yes. An additional discount is available for verified nonprofit organizations and certain healthcare-adjacent businesses including home health agencies and DME suppliers. Reach out with your organization type and we will apply it.

Can I start with one module and add more later?

That is exactly how most businesses use Certiva. Start with the module that addresses your biggest operational problem. Once that is running well, add the next one. The bundle discount applies retroactively when you combine modules, so you are not penalized for starting small.

What does setup involve and how long does it take?

Most businesses are fully operational within a few days. Certiva is designed to fit around how you already work rather than forcing a process change before you see value. Annual plans include a dedicated onboarding session. Monthly plans include self-serve onboarding with email support.
